Crash Hour - 01/03/12 11:57

Hi,
In free time creating "Crash Hour".
It is more stable now & wanted to ask for some feedback.
There is many work to do, but lets see how it works out now.

Download link to the "ALPHA" version:
Crash Hour Alpha 0.1

------------------------------------------

The biggest problem right now: game can stuck at 30fps ???
Maybe somebody had similar problem and can share a fix for this behavior.

-----------------------------------------

Some PC will need Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package

Re: Crash Hour - 01/03/12 16:38

well i played it. i do like it. i drove the car and crashed it but then i could not drive it anymore. but i could explode my car. my only suggestion at this point would be to allow the player to move the car after he crashes it.

nice game keep it up.

@MSMith: its working like its big brother (Burnout). Pretty good.
You can move your care druing later explosions while pressing space.

The explosionbar should fill slower or shouldnt fill anyway if no crashes happen.
Currently its to fast.

Thanks man, now it works. I have to say, that it's very attractive laugh
I've enjoyed playing it, and I do like the style of the game (very simple but colorful).
The only thing you are missing are a good hit and explosion sounds laugh With them will be much better!
You need to think may be adding some new stuff into it, to make gameplay even more interesting? laugh

yes, give some extra points for police car etc. grin

Re: Crash Hour - 01/06/12 16:53

great idea, not sure how the publishers will see it from another well known title though.

however as a game example and concept its a good start.

few bugs though:

scoring continuing after the game over is just one of them.

have another run through yourself and see what things you can improve.

I would perhaps give certain cars a points value etc.

If you missed the traffic, make GAME OVER and allow player to restart. Or, if you aiming big, make a small village, in which you can freely move and should make a crash.
