Convert a fbx model into collada for blender 2.67 [SOLVED]

I need to move a model into blender because we all know that working in med is just a no go. Any help welcome.

Milkshape seems to be unable to import the files properly and will not allow me to export with the trail mode...

Is Milkshape a abandoned product?

Edit * MED on the other hand has no problem importing or exporting the files. Just that MED is as horrible to work with as Blender.

<- Still holding breath for the release of a affordable 3ds max.

It would be helpful to detail the model spec's then maybe we can offer suggestions....otherwise, a Google search for free 3D file convertors should give you a great selection to try from.

It's alright there is just no way at this time to do it. Blender user have been trying to get it done forever. As for Modo it looks great but is way out of my price range. It's ok I'll have to learn how to work with MED.

The free tool like FBX converter from Autodesk should do this for you, but why not import fbx directly with addons from here?

The Autodesk converter leads to errors and files Blender can not import. Other posts on subject
