Stuff Regarding to ticker site - 12/27/08 00:51
I think it's not good to use the contest's thread for this so i start a new topic.

This is basically how you use it:
Register:
-Fill the reg. form.
-You'll get a verification email. Click the link on the email.
-You'll be asked to chose a password. Go ahead and shoe one.
--If you dont recieve the email, try resending it by using the link on registration page.
-You can also reset your password(in case you forget) by sending a new activation mail.
Login:
-Use the bar on the top. You need cookies to be enabled.
Contests:
-Ongoing contest is shown in main page with a short description.
-To see the full-description,rules,prizes and explenation of the contest either:
-All tickers stated for the current contest that you are viewing are listed below the "Contest Entries"
To start a ticker:
-Login.
-Go to the contest page and click on the "Join this contest" link.
-On the next page you need to fill your Ticker info.
-Title is you tickers and/or projects name.
-The big textbox below the title is the description of your ticker.
-Description can be 512 characters max.(Will be truncated if exceeds.)
-Description will be shown in ticker listings, and overflow will not be visible. So dont use more than 4-5 lines.
To update your ticker(add a tick):
-First way: go to your ticker page, and click "POST UPDATE" which is located at the top and bottom of your ticker.
-Second way: Find your ticker in a ticker-list. and click "Post Update" next to your ticker name.
-There is 3 ticker lists. One in main page, one in contest page and the one in "My Tickers" page.
-On "My Tickers" page you can see your all tickers(past¤t)
To change your ticker's image(That white box):
-Go to "My tickers".
-Click on the "Change Image" link, next to your tickers title.You'll see a page that asks for link.
-Upload your image to somewhere.(Imageshack,Photobucket or your own server etc.)
-Copy the direct link and past it to the page and submit.
-Ticker images will always be shown in 128x128 resolution regardless to it's real res. It d be better if you can use a image close to this res.
Commenting:
-Basicalyy go to the ticker that you want to leave the comment.
-There is a box at the bottom of the page, after comments.
-Use this box to send your comments.
UPDATES:
- Changed the mininum width of the body to improve the look of the site while viewing from lower than 1280x*** desktop resolutions.
- Updated whiteboxes to "No Preview Yet" image.
- Set all times shown in site to GMT+1
- Added ability to change ticker image. Tested locally.
