Is there a shader that will allow models to be affected by static lights similar to how geometry is affected?

You can get this with c_scan(...SCAN_LIGHTS) to static lights and pass light parameters to the shader in material skills.
[edit]
or c_trace to get tex_light & tex_color of floor (in case of wmb level, not made from models) and pass that values to the shader
thats a good idea but i dont know about making shaders, your idea gives me an idea though, however i am making a level completely from models. ive tried geometry and if one thing goes wrong its a pain in the butt lol
Oh well, this is a good method, but it isn't good for what I need. Thank you though.

I don't know any other method to pass info about static lights to the shader in the current version of 3dgs
Yea this is a tricky subject, however, I was peeking at some code from loopix and his day night system has a nice way of faking this kind of thing.
