bump maps - 03/02/04 04:02

How exactly do you use bump mapping in 3dgs, i have had a look at the code supplied in the 6.2 manual but it doesnt say how to make use of the code, any help would be appreciated.

I would appreciate that too actually.
The manuals are no good if you know nothing about these things.

After no one posting any messages to help me with the bump mapping problem i spent some time trying to figure the bump map code from the 6.2 docs, i have finally got it to work, maybe it will be of help to other people as well i pasted the bump map code into a script file, changed the texture name to the one i wanted to use, be carefull with the scaling factor i changed it to match what i wanted,i then created an action in the script code and inserted the my.material = mat_bump;
and atached it to the correct entity and bingo.
