Hello,

I'm crossposting, but I believe, the experts are here more than in Engine.

Q: Is ist normal, that dynamic lights shine through MAP walls?
Is there any other way to stop it than using a model entity for a wall which casts shadow?

Yes it's normal, this is how vertex lights work.. they will go through anything.

No there is no way to stop it unless you use some kind of shadowing technique...

Hi Matt,

I know, the answer is probably "use sphere " but is there a shadow technique in GS?

I could of course place a model in between. and give it stencil shadows? I presume it is still impossible to at least tell the shader to ignore a remote light?
