Where do I find the evidence that the packages and all containing textures/images are released under public domain without copyright violation and the allowance to use them commercially?

Re: Links - 01/26/07 04:24

counter strike can use texture formats 3dgs cannot. you need to extract them from the wad and convert to one of the formats 3dgs uses.

the files are submitted by 3rd party users and they recomend to any submitter that anything submitted is for public use. ( at least thier copy write disclaimer use to state such)

be awair that CS wads contain more than just textures ( usualy level geometry as well). much of which we can't directly access from the wad ( you need some CS WAD utilities to extract the rest. in fact you should never use a cs wad as-is. your best use is to extract the images, convert thier format, then build new (3dgs) wad file(s)

Ill post more links soon. ive got folders within folders of links under my favorites.

If 3DGS project would use real 3D artists ...... Conitec could put
amazing pictures in their advertisment site instead of the outdated ones

...but the "real" professionals with the amount of ca$h use other (better) engines and real 3D artists will not work for beginners projects (or beginners woudn't have the money to pay them).
3DGS has its own sector for newcomer, indie and causal 3D games, rarely for real big pro games.

AND THIS IS GOOD!
WE NEED A AFFORDABLE ENGINE TO REALIZE OUR IDEAS!
TO CREATE FUNNY LITTLE GAMES IN TIME AND GROW UP IN EXPERIENCE...

Conitec could do a lot to improve their marketing,.
There are several nice and pro screens within the forums threads.
There are tons of funny titles.
And last but not least the web page is a little outdated at all...

On the other hand we all bought this engine without all theses improvements.
