Arcade like shooter Demo? - 12/16/07 19:21

Hello,

I am considering making a Arcade like shooter
( If you ever Played Terminator 2 Arcade or, Area 51 Arcade You know
what I mean.)

Usually the player/camera moves from left to right however
some of these Arcade Shooter seem to have what would
seem like the player/Camera following a path.

You know The the enemy jumps out and starts shooting...
And player interaction is simple navigate the cursor with
the mouse and shoot back, middle mouse or right click
to reload, etc.

Well I,m basically just wondering if anyone has maybe a small
demo of this Type of Game.

Would be helpful as reference,

Thanks,

Well actually A5 would be perfect But A6 would be allright.
Not Really Keen on A7 As it uses the Lite-C witch I no nothing of.
I'm familiar with The Older Syntax Better And will either be
using the A5 Engine or Mid A6. But I suppose I might just maybe
be able to make sence of an A7 Demo if was in the old .wdl scripts.
Just Don't know how well I could re-verse enginer a script to
something significantly Older..

Just to let the cat out of the bag I have some Arcade components..
Well I am comtemplating Making some simple games capable of running
on older hardware. Showcased in A Actual Arcade Shell and working
lightgun.

I have been toying with the idea for A while and now its
just of matter of me coding everything!

So a Demo Would be excellent but I would not turn down a
script or 2 if anyone had some ideas.

Thanks,

After thinking upon my last post...
Thought I should clear some things up.

I realized I mentioned Arcade parts so people might get
the wrong idea here. This is no money making Venture.
I always did like Arcade Games particularly Light Guns Games
and thought I would be more enjoyable to play with Arcade sticks,
buttons, light gun as opposed to keyboard and mouse games.

I would love to test this idea out and friends and family would have
a blast with it.

Anyone else interested in this idea of mine I'll give a few sites for
reference:

All these people want to see 3D GameStudio on different consoles
myself....

I just think it would be amazing to see a 3D Games studio Arcade..
