Most know them from the contest forum...some got some of them...
...now all of you can get them all for free!!!

They are all below 300 vertices and look alright I think.

By downloading the tree pack, you agree to the following conditions:

All tree-models may be included in personal and commercial game-projects (credit is welcome but not needed). The tree-models may not be sold for money or included in other selling model-packages.

The trees...get them now!

Use the vegetation material effect on the wiki and change cullmode = none to show both sides if the texture is a sprite or a single plane model.
Solves all alpha isues except for graduation alpha's.

Ah...sure that's you...I looked at this thread before!

So you wanna use my lovely innocent trees for your cruel and brutal bull-game

...hmm we could now start a discussion about what is worse: Running over humans on close contact or shooting down humans from distance (FPS). Well I think shooting from distance is worse (because you don't really get aware of what you did...). Don't worry abaut my opinion and make the game you want to make...and make it good!

Ok...your wish...I will make some Palm trees but I will have to find the textures somewehre...hmm...you pay me a holliday on the carribean islands and I will provide you with the best palm trees...(they just don't grow in my garden

). I will try my best but you better be patient!

i like the trees as well...especially the first ones

i got a question regarding the mapping of the trunks:
The mapping is tiled several times on the wood (quite good and seamless) and the texture itself is tileable inside itself as well (not only at the borders). Combining both methods you can get very nice detail with very low texture sizes.
How did you paint the wood borderless in multiple quadrants (i assume par hand and drag and drop) and how did you map the uvw�s on it???
Some kind of checkerboard princip or some different color id blends??

any handmade method i know takes a lot of time so i would like to hear how you managed it?

The models are excellent.

Is it ok to use modified versions? For my game I have to adjust color saturation and since I use A5 I had to divide the trunk and leaves because of z sorting issues.
