Don't worry, your English is fine . I don't like to be too hard on people that are just starting modelling but I can try and help you. People just giving you positive comments all the time will not make you better so sometimes it's best to be cruel to be kind . Ok some pointers for you to improve:

1, The handle texture has not been unwrapped properly as it looks a little stretched.

2, The blade looks like it has not been skinned at all or the texture mesh has been scaled down too much over the texture.

You're doing pretty good when it comes to 'low poly'. Some people make models that are far too high poly but it seems like you understand how to make a model low poly .

Are you able to post two screenshots, a screenshot of the skin with the mesh unwrapped visible and a screenshot of the wireframe in 3d view? It will make it easier for me to see where you are going wrong.

I can't download your model because I'm on my brother's computer which does not have MED .

Will these textures be any help?

Texture 1
Texture 2
Texture 3

Texturing becomes difficult where metal is concered because shaders are required all depending on how much quality you want, but this is not up to the modeller. Ok lets a company hire you to do work for them:

They want a knife. You make them a knife. You ask them if they want shaders on the blade (metal part). If they say no, you have to obtain a photo of a knife blade with fake reflections. If you ask them if they want shaders on the blade (metal part) and they say yes, then 1 shade of grey like you've done is great . Verstehe?

Ok, as you used MS Paint, you can't be too hard on yourself, neither can I because skinning professionally using MS Paint is impossible . You need something simple to start off with. If I was you, get Ulead Photo Express. This is nice and simple and has most features you will need to get good skins.

Of course.
How i said, skin maked with ms windows paint;).
Yeah, and i maked draw only with grey over the meshes, cause i thought that it looks then like metal. *blush*
Ok i am doing it it now and edit this thread, if i got it:D

If you don't want to buy photoshop you could use gimp. You get a german version at www.chip.de and good tutorials at www.gimps.de

Ach warum schreib ich das englisch, egal...

Yea he could do but the thing is though, The Gimp is a lot like Photoshop and even for me, it's taken a bit of time to grasp. It's way more advanced than Ulead.

MS Paint >>> Basic
Ulead >>> Intermediate
Photoshop >>> Advanced

ok let me tell you exactly where you're going wrong . Wireframe looks good. Tri stripping looks fine . Can't see any problems. Your main problems are skinning. Don't forget to check out some tutorials on skinning too later but in the picture you showed me:

I can see both sides of the knife which you don't need. You need to overlap the mesh so that both sides look like 1 side. Sorry for my terrible explanation . This will allow for more detail because you can enlarge the mesh. Don't forget that the bigger the mesh is, the more detail you will see on the model. When you get better at skinning, you'll be doing some far more advanced unwrapping like this:

I had to unwrap each face and connect them together. It's quite tricky but once you get the hang of it, it'll be like 2nd nature .

I used a simple shade of grey for the blade and highlighed the edges. My client may decide to use shadows to make the model reflective .

Skinning Diagram

I've drawn you a quick diagram. It didn't take too long but shows you the mesh (auf gelb ) placed over the picture. This is the side of the model mapped onto the side image. As we only have the side image, it will cause the other sides (top and bottom to not map correctly because we only mapped the side). This is why I created a picture for the top and bottom . Select the top faces and place over the image I made underneath the picture of the side image. Then do the same for the bottom. Hope this helps you a bit .

No problem. This is the main idea of how unwrapping works. When you get even better, you'll see how the unwrapping is done more clearly. After 1.5 years of modelling, I've only decided to unwrap the proper way which is unwrapping and unfolding every angle of the mesh .
