Well, today i had an hour time so i made this little, tileable, texture (256x256):

The right texture to the right time

It´s free. You don´t have to credit me.

Really awesome clean texture HdZ! You're not expected to alter brightness (yes bilbo ). HdZ, you can't cater for each user's individual needs. It's up to them to alter brightness levels to suit their environment .

Good work!

You're such nice guys! All together!

I like the texture much, too. But you can still improve it when you add some darker leaves to the edges.

Re: autumn-texture - 10/28/05 09:58

by thw would mean that when it was tiled that there would be patterns of dark leaves

Nope! Means: At the moment there are patterns of light leaves!

To change this, he should copy few leaves from the middle to the edges to let it look less patterned!

Re: autumn-texture - 10/28/05 15:01

hm.
i´ve photographed (hope this is correct english ) a leaf-field. at home i used a moving filter so that i have the edges of the photo side by side. then i´ve copied a leaf from the photo and paste it over the edge! This i´ve made several times and used the moving-filter again!

i know, the edge-leaves looks out of the texture! the smaller the scale of the texture (or bigger the using-area) the more you can see them!
