will AUM 100 be "special"?

it would be the 100th issue. surely there would be something special about the issue, like a review of the previous 99 issues, or something like that?

or maybe just more conent. Maybe with user donations/articles.

I didn't think about it yet, but more content and lots of user articles and contributions sounds fun!

I will try to finish and comment some projects of mine. So they can be published with the AUM 100 (Only if they are good enough =P )

there is still 9 months for aum100, maybe i can put something up until that time.

It would be cool if new Tuorials to Lite-C, MED ,WED and GED are published in the AUM100 or parallel with the AUM100

i think a "best of AUM" issue would be cool! a look back at the beginning of the aum's featuring articles and codes from A5, A6, and A7, and comments from those of us that have either used the codes from the articles, and /or what the AUM's have meant to us. I know I have a lot of great stories, especially what George has done to help me understand c-script, and the personal assistance he has given me. I think issue 100 should be all about George and the AUM's, give him a break from working.

i will open a special topic in this forum closer to the actual release date of the magazine that you can post your great stories that came from the AUM magazine.

George, do you still accept C-Script code for the AUMs? Or do you only accept Lite-C now? Because I have some old multiplayer FPS code written in C-Script that has deathmatch/cooperative capabilities, and I figure some people may be interested...

what about you release it now and expect someone to convert it to lite-c until aum100?

@redeemer, i would just post it in user resources. there are those of us that still use c-script that would welcome new contributions. i know the AUM's are all about lite-c.

I'd like us to have lite-C code only in the magazine; mixing lite-C with C-Script might confuse the beginners out there.

you could have both - but you would have to have them in different pages - eg lite-c codes and c-script codes.

Don`t mix lite_c and c-script, that gives unexpectedly errors !!

Then George would have to spend more time on the AUM which could mean longer intervals for releases.

i still think my idea is cool. give him a break, and do a best of. there can still be a contribution, but a best of mag would be cool. especially the words from those of us who George assisted.

I agree with Blink, George has contributed so much to this community and he deserves a break. It's not easy trying to keep monthly deadlines.

Don't worry guys, I won't need a break. A special, larger magazine that includes some of your contributions is a great idea, though.
