I've been following it since he started on it a year ago. It would use 3D World Studio 6 as the level editor given it is the same developer. I tried out some of the older tech demos months ago, and I was impressed with it. He's come a long way since then. I'll download the demo in a bit.

Was this the same person who came here on the forum promoting the world studio editor and promise compatible for use with GameStudio?

It has a WMP dll in the existing editor, but I don't know how well it works. There should be a 3DGS section on his forum.

Oke I see now on the features page it says import/export .wmp, I can remember this editor from last year as I wanted to purchase a license for replacing WED, but it wasn't finished at that time. The only thing that I would like to know is if this will only work for block based geometry? Because I don't see support for .mdl, only for .x on LeadWerks website.

I'm not sure in regards to mesh capabilities. Both the editor and the engine are BSP based. He's working on a new version of the editor(version 6), and he's going to integrate it with the engine, so it sounds like a major rewrite. He's going to try and get as many 3rd party developers involved for animation import/export purposes.
Anyway, I'm not certain how stable or reliable the WMP support is with 3DWS.
