hey there! dunno if this should be under user request or something^^...

well, i got the plugin for text to speech. now i downloaded the speech to text engine from microsoft. does anyone know, if there is a plugin for speech to text for gamestudio? this would be very helpfull, cause i don't know how to write a plugin ^^ regards, pint

but sometimes my a6 is myking trouble if i use this. anyways, does anyone have a plugin for write down the stuff trhe player speaks? or does anyone know where to find it?

You mean ASR. It isn't really very practical. A dictation grammar, which it seems is what you are interested in, is CPU intensive and requires training sessions before it works with any degree of accuracy. You can use a command and control grammar, but that only recognises a number of set phrases.

Microsoft SAPI is free to use.

Is it realistic ?
I purchased a commercial text to speech sotfware some time ago, not the MS
The English version seems reasonably ok , at least for short sentences, but I am not an English native speaker
The Italian version is a disaster

Comunque non sono d'accordo con quelli che parlano in tedesco, anche se 3dgs in effetti è stato sviluppato in germania

La gente parla tranquillamente anche in spagnolo o in francese.
Se fanno storie gli scriviamo l'abstract in inglese..
Per il motore di sintesi vocale puoi cercare Eloquens che è opensource.

does anyone have this old A6 plugin? i am developing a phonics game for children that have phonics issues, and need help with reading. i can really use a plugin like this to help me make the game fun. please, can anyone help me? i searched the wiki and old topics, but the website link is invalid.
