According to their forum the software will NOT remain free, though it will remain free throughout the beta. However, the developers have said that there will be two price points for the software. One will be for the "pros" and another that is, in their words, "not expensive". They have also stated that the prices for either versions have not been set yet.

i just did some tests and....WOW! This tool is absolutely amazing! The normalmaps it creates from simple texture files are extremely accurate and just look amazing.

Its really good but it says u can only use it in july!!
Also, hope its not too expensive when released.

I think it does a better job than Nvidia's Photoshop NM Generator.

What is the difference between Nvidia's Photoshop NM Generator and this one?

Hope the tool will be sold for about $35.- and I only purchase for ease of use. Otherwise i'll just stick to nvidia's tool and rework the textures in Gimp.
