looking for good programm which is like MED

hello,
as in the ask the developers thread i cant start the med on 5 different pcs because i get an not solvetable error!
I REALLY need a software which has the same features and functions:
skinning,bones animation vertex animation,those 4 windows

Does someone know such a good programm? Oh and one thing!!!!!
it should have this heightmap function too and the exporting modeltypes should gamestudio accept too!
If i get one without modeltyps for gamestudio please give the link for the import/export plugin!

Maybe take a look at "Milkshape" and see if that fits the bill? I use Hexagon for modeling, UltmateUnwrap3D for UV's and conversion, and Freeworld3D for terrains (well, still working on a good pipeline for that last one). But I do see/hear a lot of people swear by Milkshape.

that is actually a very good call, milkshape is very much like med because if its very obvious/easy to use button based interface (albeit inefficient but still...)
definitely a good starting place if your coming from med.

But Milkshape is't free, is it?

It's free i think. I'd advice you to use 3DSmax! It's expensive but it rocks!

3d studio max is bad because i didnt found any shit plugin for the import export!
It had everytime errors...
