Autodesk 123D Catch - 2D pics to 3D model. - 11/07/11 19:38

Looks pretty cool - 2D pictures to a 3D model.
Haven't played with it yet, and things like this have a way of disappearing so here's the download page:
Photofly Terms/Conditions and Download

Don't know if anything will export to 3DGS though...
And it will definitely need a poly reduction to be usefull !

Hey,
it is called 123D Catch now, here you go: 123D Catch website

I think the app is stunning, will definitely try it out! I would like to know if anyone would be able to capture a person in T-pose and push that through Mixamo or the like...

very easy to use, however not sure if its going to export very well...not tried exporting but creating something is pretty quick and simple.

it exports and imports in autodesk 3d max really well. however no matter what I photograph it always has a burnt / melted look about it.

be interesting to see what changes they do when it comes out of BETA.
