Kinect PC version announced for 1st of february

In my eyes the price is too high and there seem to be no announced improvements on the sensors.

Well I guess there is at least on difference to the XBox360-kinect: Close range.
At least thats what I'd hope for, because I'm not sitting more than 1 meter away (it's rather 1/2 m) from my PC. So putting the XBox360-Kinect beside your computer screen would give you a depth image which has no use because you'd be a black shadow on it.
