One character model needed

I need someone that would be able to do a character model for me. It does not need to be animated or textured I can do that my self. I just have problems with making 3D human figures.

None paid and your model will only be used in my game and will not be used in any others after that.

You will get credit in the game for the model also.

Also it is for a RPG game and it does not have to be super high good looking. Character sketches and details on the model when agreed to make it.

Well, I have a fully built human (skinning is complete but, I'm currently in the process of texturing it) but, I don't wish to just give it away. I would have been interested in letting you have it for $30 with credit though. I mean that's only about �15 lol. But thing is though, I presume you want a custom made model created to your own preference and liking. Mine is a warrior type with torso and left arm exposed, armoured shins, metal shoes and a metal shield on his right arm. I tried to keep symmetry down to a minimum

. If you want, I can send screens or post them here. I think you could at least offer something even if it's only small amount. I would because you're not going to get good quality work for nothing

Wouldn't you want to at least pay a small amount for something good and exclusive instead though? I usually charge a lot more but, I'm currently testing my painting skills and thought I'd do a test model. Besides, you just want a model, not animated and textured so it would be a lot more if I were to include this. If you don't wish to pursue this excellent deal, I will sell it for a lot more in the future when it's fully textured with all maps.

Mesh and UV Map = $30. Seriously, a true bargain. The only person benefiting is you lol.

Well my logic behind this is that I'm not doing this game for profit. I'm making this game to further my knowlege in game making. I'm not an artist at all but I am a little better than some people at art. But when it comes to the human form thats where my art skills stop at.

So what i'm saying is that i'm looking for people that want to help out and gain experience in creating games. Even if you have only done one poor character model that does not matter to me because that means it would be better than mine because I dont even know were to start when it comes to human form.

And please do not respond back to this post if you are just going to say I will do it for so much money. I know I could just say well I'll pay 50$ and would have a bunch of people jump on it but I do not want to pay. My game is not going to be for profit so why pay people to make it I would just end up losing money.

I'm looking for people to help out that just want to gain experience and get there name out there. i.e. I did a character model for this game for this guy etc.

Thats great please do not respond to this thread saying that I need to offer money lik I already requested I'm just looking for people who are not after making money. Mainly someone who is new to modeling that wants to get there model in a game.

I agree with you (own experiences) that also in this forum a lot of members just posting "good ideas" without reading or understanding the request/question.

Hi , maybe as you know i am working on Kung Fu Master 3D , but i'am very Busy with other stuff and it goes very slowly with it but anyway i made this Model for Kung Fu Master's Level 5 Boss , its not UVW mapped and no bones or something just the Mesh (still W.I.P) . If you Like it you can use it , but i will also use him later for Kung Fu Master

if this is no Problem for you let me know and i will send it to you.

P.s. Normaly my Models have more Details and Polys , but i keep it simple in Kung fu Master , the Models in this Project are not More than 1000 / 1500 Polys . This one has 64 Polys more than my limit

I was just tryina forwarn ya that almost nobody here will do good work for free.

I WOULD, however, highly reccomend 3dcafe.com They've got plenty of good character model freebies.

I didn't mean to offend

..just saying.. you'd have better luck asking for a million dollars at a congressional ball than asking someone to do something of remotely usable quality for free here. this parto of the forum is..more or less for paid work, anyway..you might try puttin it in user requests..you'll get better response probably.

I would, myself, because I'm all for helping whoever, with whatever I can..but I dun do character modeling that good yet (I can't do faces or heads that well for some reason). I would embarass us both if I tried right now.
