How to make a water.hmp?

How to make a water.hmp? - 12/01/07 01:30

when i try and use just a regular flat hmp, i get an error message:

crash in fx_water_env:bmap_to_normals(bmap_for_entity(my,0),1.0)

any help?? I think i need to make a different HMP becasue the reflection for the Water_env template script works but not the ripples.

i don't know anything about the templates, but try to give the terrain a bumpmap as skin...

I remember in the old days for water ripples , you had to move one of the vertices lower than the others. Dunno if its necessary now

Why did you not use the water.hmp in the work folder? There is one included.

that was just necessary to be able to move it in WED...but not it has the direction arrows
