WARNING! A Passable ON bug - 06/28/08 19:59

Hello this is my situation

I did creat an entity on runtime,
ent_create("s2.tga",vector(0,0,0),sun_prop_2); //the sun

the function sun-prop2

has something like my.passable=on;

Alright!

So , my mouse, is wanting to reach a planet, to check if the planet was touched, and if yes, it will change mouse cursor. But somehow the entity created that is (by script ) made to be in front of camera, (its a flare) will not let the mouse triger the planet event, its like its not passable to that, since the mouse "thinks" there is an entity in front of the planet occluding.

How do i solve this! i mean when i use not flare the mouse works! its the entity that its doing this!

PLease help me!

There is no function (ignore sprites....???) for mouse trigers and events? wihout c_trace (since that would slow down a lot)

I may be missing everything here. But I'm willing to take a guess!

Did you know about "untouchable"? Thats a flag that makes the entity "invisible" for mouse-related events like "event_touch" and "event_click" and what-have-you. Also see the manual for helpful input regarding said flag!

Anyway, if you are using these events, then you may want to try setting that flag.
If you don`t use these events, then whoops, my assumption was totally false. Sorry about that. I'm only trying to help. AND FAILED HORRIBLY. frown

Well that was not on the listed flags thats why i never saw it. Really Sorry.. There is alot of stuff on the manual that its not properly indexed.

OK it works now, but, when i write flags on the manual, it don't show it. thats why i missed .
Thanks for your help.
