projection of pixel values - 10/08/12 13:52
hi guys, my recent headache is the visualisation of values.
my data source is a matrix storing blue green and red values for each pixel. is there a way to project this pixel informations on a survace in the the A7 engine, so that i can visualize the data from the matrix in the engine?
thanks in advance

Thanks for your reply.
now i got atleast one idea how to start. but one doubt remains. how to get the pixel value for the function.
pixel_to_bmap(BMAP* bmap,var x,var y,var pixel);
as far as i understand this is the color of the pixel that shouls be set. right? if yes how to get it out of my red, green and blue chanels?
thanks

When you click on the link "pixel_to_bmap" in 3dgs_snake's post you see related keywords and instructions at the bottom of the page. This is oftentimes very helpful, and here it is, too (you are looking for "pixel_for_vec").

Hi,
You have to call
bmap_lock to obtain a format, and call
pixel_for_vec to obtain the pixel you want to blit.
