Re: experienced modeller available - 04/14/06 07:49

can you apply skinmaps and animations? prefered are animations btw...
i could need a skilled animator asd well model designer to do scifi-medieval-fantasy models (yeah.. what a mix)

Re: experienced modeller available - 04/14/06 13:11

I can make my own skinmaps/textures, and uvmap models, yes.
I can also rig a skeleton to a model, but I don't know how to animate as of yet.

Hey you have some really nice work Chasarsis . The guy in the last shot reminds me of solid snake (his face) and the woman in the red dress remins me of my brother's girlfriend . Just wondered how you model the face? Spline caging, box modelling, poly modelling? Do you model from blueprints? Great work there. I think if you worked on your texturing a bit more, you will definitely have a lot of potential to become a pro. Your modelling skills are top notch.

Re: experienced modeller available - 04/14/06 16:49

Thanks, hopefully daily practice will pay off in the near future. =)

I've found box modelling works best for me; Spline and Poly modelling meant filling in a lot of the space with my imagination until I got around to modelling it, which I hard a hard time doing effectively and so ended up messing my propotions up horribly ^^; (even when I used blueprints)

I only use blueprints when I'm trying to get the exact proportions of a form in, like a body, or the frame of a car. After that I rely on the concept sketch for finishing off the details.
Usually I do without them though, and just model straight from a concept sketch in my hand or on the screen somewhere, as is the case with all the models I posted above.

Re: experienced modeller available - 04/28/06 23:36

If someone wants a model on my site to use then its free; so long as its not for a project I'm working on or have worked on.
Only requirement is giving credit to its maker, namely me ^^;

SO if you want it, just pm me your email address and I'll send it off to you in .3ds format asap

Well its the end of my school quarter and I thought it might not be a bad idea to update this thread with some of my more recent work. Much of it is 2d, but I've created a few 3d models in the past couple of weeks.

Re: experienced modeller available - 03/30/07 02:52

I love the chibi ninja, such models practically deserve a game project of their own! Too bad my wallet is rather empty at the moment, but otherwise ... do you happen to sell your current models (unexclusively) too?

Cheers

Re: experienced modeller available - 03/30/07 17:43

I sell my own original character's; e.g. this last model I made I'd charge for, but Gohan for instance already belongs to Funimation so I'd give him away so long as credit is given where the project is used.

Email/pm me for prices ^^

Where are they teaching you because where ever it is, they do FINE work!!

It is very impressive to see your skills develop over the course of a year.
You've gone from good amateur to professional in that time.

Impressive.
