Trying to connect zorro 1.26 to fxcm

Hi,
I just downloaded the last version of Zorro 1.26 opened a demo account with fxcm and tried to connect zorro to fxcm.
I copied and pasted:
my login from fxcm to zorro's user ID
and password from fxcm to zorro's password
And I tried to trade the script Z1 and I get the message:
< Z1 opgroup
< LoginF fxcm
< Broker: login-login failed incorrect username c.... (the rest of the sentence is beyond the window frame, I cannot read it)
< can't connect

Before posting this question I searched the forum and the only similar problem I found was my own question in feb.2014 for the same issue.
I couldn't connect then and still cannot today.
I'm working now on a new powerful computer and would love to go further and try and program new strategies, but I can't go beyond square one.
(I wanted to attach a screenshot but did't find the attachment button...)
Could you help me with connecting Zorro to fxcm?

Strange. One time I had troubles connecting with a "wrong users/pass" error resulted from a windows problem with its stack and could be solved by rebooting the system. But the other time, nearly one year now, I cannot complain about the connectivity to FXCM (but according to real accounts).
Did you try to connect with your user/pass via the web GUI of FXCM (Trading Station Web) and was it successful? In between the last weeks my demo account expired twice (maybe of too long idle times), but one mail to FXCM and I received new data quickly. Did you choose "DEMO" in Zorro?

Check the Demo/Real drop-down option.

For messages that are too wide to fit in Zorro's output window
1. double click on Zorro's output window
Observe: "Copied to Clipboard!"
2. Open text editor
3. Paste

Yes it was set on Demo on Zorro.
Yes I downloaded their Tradestation and successfully entered the login and password.
After your message I tried to do the same with their web platform but they are in maintenance mode for the week end and I can't access it.
But anyway the fact that I could get their tradestation working is a proof that there is nothing wrong with my login and password, so I really don't understand why Zorro can't connect.
It must be something at my end though since I had the same problem a year ago on another computer, another download of Zorro and another instance of fxcm.
What am I doing wrong?

I didn't know this, I had tried to select and copy, but control C wouldn't work...
here is the text:

Can't connect!

Hi schmurex. Are you using the MT4 bridge? Or the accounts.dta facility?

Since this is a Demo account, you could post the ID and password to see if one of us can access it with 1.26. Once the problem is resolved, you can forget about this Demo account and open another Demo account...

no I don't use the MT4 bridge, that's why I opened a new fxcm demo account.

No problem to give away my login and password, I never used the account so far...
But right now nobody can log in, I just tried again and here is the answer:

So I'll try again on Sunday night and if it still doesn't work I'll paste my login and password here...

I also have an account with OANDA, but it looks like it's a bit out my coding skills to write the plugin...

PS: a question: Does that mean that you can't access any chart during the weekend?
With MT4 I can work on charts, indicators and AE when the market is closed...

I don't understand what was the problem before though...
But anyway it works now and I am more than happy!

I'm experiencing the same issue. Maybe the account needs some time to get activated for remote connects?

Edit: Okay seems like it was just a matter of time. Login works now.
