IB Demo Via Gateway Cause Zorro to Freeze

Hi Everyone,

Can anyone help with this pls? Zorro 2.35 Free version can not login into IB Demo as it freezes indefinitely each time.

IB Gateway is working properly as confirmed by GET validation check on port 4002:

HOWEVER, when Zorro try to login to IB to do a download or a TradeTest it causes Zorro to freeze.

No no, you set up the "Client Portal Gateway", which is for REST. The IB plugin uses the TWS API, not the REST API.

You need either "Trader Workstation (TWS)" or the "IB Gateway" (completely different gateway).
