Suggestion for paper trading equities? - 07/29/21 22:17

I'm trying evaluate Zorro. The features certainly look impressive. Coming from a programmer background makes it look even more appealing.

In trying to kick the tires, I'm finding that none of the brokers that offer free paper trading have working broker plugins, this includes Alpaca and TDAmeritrade.

Tradier has a minimum balance and I'd prefer not have to have to install IB's gateway.

Any suggestions on how to best test trading equities via paper trading?

...Thanks...

IB is the best, and it indeed has paper trading. You will need market data subscriptions.

Some users have contributed plugins for Alpaca and TD Ameritrade:

Thanks Andrew. I gave in and installed the IB Gateway. it's not that bad and honestly, I'll probably be using IB anyway as I hear their routing is the best.
