Filling in AssetsOanda.csv - 12/15/21 06:13

Hi guys,

I recently realised I had an issue in regards to the .CSV data being returned in the Log being completely incorrect. This is a shame because I want to copy the data over to assetsoanda.csv

I tried updating zorro to 2.44 but no luck.

I am testing with around 40 different assets, so I'd like to be able to have an assets list which tests both forex and cfds with equal weight so I can get a good idea of stat Sig.

However, Oanda don't seem to make it easy to find all required information

Anyone got any ideas?

Oanda data is normally correct but some MT4 servers can send wrong data. Always check data against the brokers website. We also have a service where you can order asset data.

If you are looking for the tickers offered by Oanda, it is indeed a pain to find as they do not have the tickers listed on the page with all their instruments for a direct link. I asked them a few months ago to create such a page, so will see how long that takes.

I did eventually find a page with the holiday hours and maintenance times which has the tickers and their associated times. You have to scroll through all the holidays to find all the tickers. Populate your Asset List with the tickers and then download the asset details via Zorro. Hope this helps!
