New Zorro version 2.44

Zorro 2.44 is now available:

Mostly unchanged, but the Coinbase and Tradestation plugins have been updated.

One positive thing I've noticed in a Wine environment is that the progress information (i.e. total return, return, winning/losing trades) is visible while not being in a trade. In formal versions it only showed the bar counter.

One thing that hasn't been fixed in Wine yet, is the blurred window when minimizing and maximizing Zorro's screen. I've reported this, but received no feedback so far. FYI, I'm using Wine's latest dev version.

Negative step in optimize() does not work in BRUTE

When step is set to a negative value in BRUTE, Zorro still uses a 1/10 of a min..max range as a step for that parameter - which the manual describes as behavior when step is omitted or at 0.

I can now see a freshly added note that negative steps only work in ASCENT.

But can they please also be made to work in BRUTE?

This can certainly be implemented on common demand. And if something in your script does not work, read the relevant page in your manual - all is in there and it 's usually faster than a forum discussion.

Changes: Some error messages were reworded to be more precise, and PRELOAD now loads daily candles rather than hourly candles on 1-day bar periods.
