Choose Wondows Remote Server

Hello,

i searched through the forum but didn't find an already existing post. Thats why opening one:

Instead of 24/5 running HomeComputer, I decided to look for a serverhoster.

Is there any tips you can give me which characteristics i should idealy look for?

Or do you have recommendations for a server hoster you made good experience with?

This might be interesting for some other users too.

If you are still eligible for Amazon free tier you could try that. It's the t2.micro instance type. It should be enough for running one Zorro and one MT instance (although I haven't tried). And it's for free (at least for a year).

Amazon free tier is ok if requirements for Ram is minimal (1Gb), but sometimes it's a bit slow.
Now I'm using Cheapvps and very happy with performance. Zorro and 3 instances of MT4 with EA's running very smooth.

If you go the VPS route, you may want to choose one located as close to your broker server as possible.

Oh ok will take the possible location in consideration - havent thought about that point yet!
