Multiple Zorro instances on same broker

Multiple Zorro instances on same broker - 09/01/19 10:04

Hi,

i want to run 2 Zorro-S instances parallel with the same broker using Z2 and Z12.

The Zorro manual say under "Running multiple Zorros":

"If the parallel trading Zorros use different broker APIs, set the NOLOCK flag for speeding up API access. ..."

What does "use different broker APIs" mean? Does it mean different User-Names? Or what?

Best Regards

If you are using the same broker plugin (IB and IB), you are using the same API.

Hi Mcteilchen,
I want to clarify one thing. There is an API and then there is an account associated with the API. I use zorro on the same API (OANDA) but I had to use two different accounts to prevent conflicting trades. Each zorro instance is running on it's own account. That was the only way I was able to run two different z systems. My zorro set up is account one zsystem 1 and account 2 zsystem2.

Hi chsmac85,

I assumed i have to use two different user accounts. Thank you for confirming this!
