id like to see 3dgs in compatibility with the xbox 360. imagine this. youve just build a level with about 500 grass models..all laid down by hand. extremely high detailed trees a house or two with very nice normal maps attatched. and then a water fall with refraction and some realtime water reflections. and all the tree trunks have normal mapping. the clip range is set pretty far away too...about 150000 you know that 3dgs by itself cant handle this. your system maybe but 3dgs no.so you pick up your 360 controller and render it on the 360 and it looks amazing and your pleased so you go bak to the engine and make some more. that is some thing id really like to see. but for now im stuck trying to figure out how to get this 360 controller to work with 3dgs.

that was a somewhat interesting read.

not going to happen. this really is something people should search more often before requesting them, but it is not going to happen until someone makes a game that passes the following criteria:
a) microsoft is cool with it becoming a 360 game
b) your publisher (or yourself) is happy to fund conitec's making of a port to the 360

similar things for other consoles, minus "microsoft" and plus their respective companies.

If you realy want to create games for the 360. I suggest you learn some C# and XNA and purchage a creators club licence.

See this thread about this topic:

But remember, making the software able to run on Xbox360 wont make your arts look better.
