Z12 with U.S. Oanda Account - 03/03/21 00:57

Hello All:

I'd like to trade the Z12 system as a U.S. Citizen using an U.S. Oanda account with 50:1 leverage.

Unfortunately, I'm prohibited from trading CFDs. Does anyone have an idea of how I can modify the asset list in order to have similar returns to the original set?

Thanks for any advice.

Hi, you may try to edit the .fac file. Set to 0. all the values for un-tradable assets. Not sure if it works. Ciao

Hi flip26 , it is also mentioned somewhere in the Z3 description, that you can trade indexes via ETFs (SPY, QQQ. etc.). The same should be valid for Z12.

I am allowed to use CfDs ,so I did not elaborate on that, but if that is the option for You and you have some no commission ETF broker, you probably can send the non-FX live orders from Z12 to the ETF broker. Just watch out for the day trader pattern restrictions.

Just a hint, no guarantee :-).

I think Z12 allows you to omit instruments, but not add additional ones.
