I wanna save a file that only contains Bones, no mesh (so i can read this data out using ent_animatefrom). But when I try to save the file, MED crashes; happens everytime.
Is this to be expected? I would think i can just save bones, especially when i can animate from a different file...

(My idea was to make one file for all my animations ingame, and then have the rest of the models just mesh + bone setup).

Workaround for now is just to create a single vertex, and save, that works.

hmm. i can save only bones.(no vertex). It's gotta be something on your side.

(added some connected bones, added 2 frames, made a simple animation, and saved, no crash)

Can you email that model - with the single vertex - to Support? I can also here not reproduce a problem saving a vertexless model.

i have tested this on 2 computers, both crashed.
I'll send the model over now.

Thanks for the model - it crashes indeed. This will be fixed.
