In the news! - 12/16/08 14:11

This week, and many weeks ago in the news:

Teacher throws student in detention and threatens to call police, for using Linux

It surely shows how ignorant people can be.
Almost frighting how much influence Microsoft got.
It almost made me jump over to Linux laugh .

Overclocking breaches the space-time continuum
Quote:
MIT Professor George Greznowski said, "It appears that the CPU was operating so fast that it began to execute instructions before they arrived. This execution of future instructions created a small tear in the fabric of space-time itself through which part of the motherboard passed into a parallel universe."
Quote:
Mr. Aperman better known as SpeedPhreeek said, "I'm pissed. I lost a brand new Alpha Cooler and Coppermine to a parallel universe. I called my insurance company and they don't cover losses to rifts in the space-time continuum."
Note that this article was from 2000 ^^.

Anyone got more remarkable news to show? smile
