i dont think the world will ever end nor human race will ever vanish. we'll just change our look(something like evolving to higher level/state of mind, bla bla, something like that)

Yup, as long as we are still able to talk about it, the end is nowhere near yet.

I'm thinking world powers may collapse between now and 2060 because of running out of oil and such, but I doubt the world be somehow be destroyed. World War II didn't cause it to end, so why would World War III?

Ahh, by the way, the only reason why people want us to believe the world might end in 2012... is to sell even more of those crappy conspiracy theory books. :P

When it comes to preservation of energy, I'm thinking that's far more likely than most people would think. Of course, it remains to be seen whether the human race outlasts the earth.

People are spreading the word to sell more books, as previously said, and get donations for people that think that it will all end anyway and they don't need their cash ^_^. Personaly, I'd spread the word to see some idiots running around and yelling "WE ALL GONNA DIE!!!"

Did you really take my suggestion of a cooking thread, which, to be honest, could really become an interesting and fun diversion (just imagine people posting recipes and pictures of delicious selfmade meals! Learn new recipes and get nice ideas everyday!) - and did you really use it as a cheap excuse for a "joke"? You know that this means war, right?

Generally, I'm all for a more relaxed attitude - essentially allowing people to have a bit of harmless fun -- but Moggy obviously has long since moved past that mark. i was going to post a video of me "TRYING" to cook some eggs on the cooking thread before it was ruined by severeal things and getting locked.
