Publically announcing horrible failure, Part deux. - 07/22/09 15:04

Hi.

You know. I'm failing again. In a horrible way. Pretty embarassing, if you ask me. God, please don't look. This is pathetic.

Instead of clicking there, why don't you look at this picture instead? It is very relaxing and 100% more successful at what it sets out to do.

Apart from that Professor-Layton-Twitter thing, has there ever been any good use of Twitter yet. I don't think so.

Also, obligatory.

In NSW (an Australian state in case you don't know) a multi-media company began an experiment which went "horribly right" where they started a Twitter account called "nswpolice" which claimed to be from the actual NSW Police Department. Many people thought it was genuine, so the company came forward and turned it over to the actual NSW Police Department, which now uses it to alert people of number plates they're looking for, updates to the most-wanted list, and anything else they're looking for on short-notice or want to alert people to.

I'd call that good use of Twitter smile

Keep up the work with this project. I played your other two you referenced (I'm sure you had others, but last I looked at this project you only mentioned the coloured-boxes one and the projection one) back in the day, and thought they were very cool smile

Heh, thanks for the nice words smile A few days ago, I played Cubic Colors again - for the first time in a while - and I had a really hard time solving these puzzles. So I suppose it wouldn't have worked well as a commercial puzzle-title!
But I've learnt a lot from it, and I also stole quite some ressources from that one for the current project. WHICH IS GONNA BE AWESOME.
... Announcing a horribly awesome failure, part deux. I guess.
