German and Dutch Translation

Hi and greetings to everyone.

I made 2 3d gamestudio games at the links below and are now working on an Iphone / Ipod game using apple's objective C language. The new game will be in several languages and automatically detecting the users phone language setup.

Anyways, I was wondering do you think that these translations are accurate below? If not, can you post here and I will change it? thanks...

btw. it is "He is risen!", not "He is Risen !", and "Creation" is English, too. In German you'd say "Kreation" or "Erschaffung" or "Schöpfung" in your context.

How to spell that in German?

"Das erste Weihnachten" is a manger scene with baby jesus, mary and joseph and animals that they get touch the screen to color it. The farm animals make animal sounds on their iphone. lol

It's for small kids.

Mh, Coloring Fun, if I understand it right(i mean the sense), coloring fun is okay(in german), because the German would be too long: "Spaß am Farblichen Gestalten"(correct me if this is wrong ) - So how i said it´s very long. I would let it "Coloring Fun" - the only thing: May you should write it in British English "Colouring Fun".

Maybe a not direct translation will do for the title.

I would translate this as 'Creatie' in Dutch. Aanmaak means more creation in a literal sense but has no link with anything religious, but creatie is more commonly used and people will know what you mean that way.

Also, Coloring Fun isn't translated, but I would keep it similar to the German translation, meaning 'Plezier met kleuren'. Or something along that line.

I'd say "Kleur plezier", coloring fun is just English.



Creatie like Phemox says is much better, but even more used is "De Schepping". This only applies to religious tales about the creation of the world, species, e.g. the creation from the hands of a God (doesn't strictly apply to the meaning of God by Christianity though).



Is this meant as first christmas day? Because then you'd need to call it "De Eerste Kerstdag"



"Het Offerfeest" means a celebration of a sacrifice. "The sacrifice" may refer to "Het Offer", the sacrifice ritual or the sacrificed subject, or "De opoffering", a subject sacrificing itself (for others).

Yeah, I would say The Sacrifice would have to be De Opoffering instead. I take it this Sacrifice is about the crucifixion, or..?
