As long as it doesnt become slower im fine with it

you get it from:

file->setytings->beta participation-> UI update

it looks a lot nicer than the old one, and has better functionality.

Okay, i loaded it, but i think it needs too much time to load a game background and it is very laggy....

best of all they switched to a chromium based web renderer instead of ie:

like 5 times faster for me

yes in forums they say because they are using only currently 2 US servers for hosting the images, when the beta is over all servers will switch to this system, so it will be faster.
(lag goes away after steam loads all 3 versions of thumbnails for yourg games.)
