Internet downloading problem

Hello,

When I download something, it takes long tome to give me the save window, then it just save it directly, looks like it was downloading before the save window appears, anybody knows why is this happening?

Happens on every browser, on my PC only.

I'll try to delete the files. and I'll see if the problem disappeared.

Defragment your hard drive? (if you are on windows xp or lower, you have to do this manually, if you are on windows vista or higher, make sure it's turned on).

no i think you have kaspersky as antivirus, isnt it?

i can't see how kaspersky is causing the problem, i've had it for years never had that problem, disabling is just opening your computer up to risks as it wont be scanning the downloaded files

my friend had this problem, and disabling kaspersky solved it!
he had also a problem at playing online game, but after disabling kaspersky it worked.

Yes I use Kaspersky Defragment also worked, but after 2 days it gets back, looks like I'll remove my Kaspersky (I got it as a gift, so it shouldn't be a problem with deleting it. I was happy with my Microsoft Security Eessentials )

Actually, it gives me some false alarms also. I know it has a good popularity, but for me it just ain't right. I even have no idea why did I installed it.
