google voice chat

is it just me or is the quality extremely bad, to such an extend that I have a hard time even understanding German people? It's as if they'd compress the signal down to 200b/s, 4bit, add a huge amount of pink noise to it, skip the whole signal and replace it with white noise.

If it's the one that G+ is using, the quality is actually extremely good, better than skype.

Aren't there any settings you can change? Or does it use the Flash Settings?

it's the one from gmail. I haven't found any settings... skype is working fine. Could it have something to do with my phoning to a landline phone?

worked for me. well, when i had slow internet itd cut out sometimes, but when i got back to decent net it was fine.
