a new version of my editor is out and I need some people to help me crash that bitch to make it bug free.

sorry for my dumb question. But for wich engine is it ( Lightfeather Engine ???). And what are the future plans.

Are you working on a roundbased tactical figtsim?

BTW: the editor and game also run fine in WINE on Linux.

Yes, as always. Since I started working on the editor first there should be a future for the project.
Yes, this is the Lightfeather engine and the reason why I posted in morbius.

Hopefully this will be a working turn based strategy game someday. I Participate in the closed beta of Jagged Alliance and I must say that it's unfortunately not a strategy game. It's luck and how much you're willing to spend for extras. Lost Sector is pretty cool though

I know, they cut out the turnbased part, in favor of some
realtime / stop action thing.

By this ripping out the most prominent feature of the game.

Is the new XCOM going to be turnbased?

This is not quite correct. There're two games in the making:
1) JA:Online
which is still turnbased but lacks any kind of strategical gameplay (as far as I can see)

2) JA:Back in Action
which is a remake of JA2 but with realtime mode and pause.
