my iOS game - Final Run - 01/30/12 23:35

Hi guys!

Some of you may remember me.
I've been away from the forum lately, since about 14 months, I as well have made the switch (slowly) from 3DGS to Unity3D.
Obviously you can never forget about the great guys over here, and I have been lurking around for a bit still.

I have been working hard on my game, and I would love to share it, as I always have done with my projects with you guys. Unfortunately it's not made in 3DGS so I cant post it in showcase wink

It's a 3D vehicular combat game!
Check out the gameplay trailer I put together:

Final Run [iOS] - YouTube - Gameplay Trailer

I have been working on this with my best friend. The whole game is made with 2 core people!

I hope you guys leave me some good feedback, and if you have any questions, just ask grin

PS: we also have a small contest running, you can get yourself in our game as one of the zombies! check for more detail here: http://www.rotorgames.nl/

kind regards,

hi,

the limited ressources of iphone/ipad doesnt allow shadows ?

Even I dont understand the need of Games for such stuff I wish you the best and big profits.

Detailmapping would probably improve the look a lot and should be easy to add...

really cute. I like the low poly style.
Especially the zombie dudes.
The artwork fits well together.

So we're nearly 11 months into this project. I can't remember the last time I got paid, we're taking a risk with this project.

Uhh, hope your game places good on the market then to get
some cash in.

There is detail mapping setup everywhere, maybe the youtube compression messes that up though... smirk

Have a good look again! There are static shadows underneath the vehicles (except when not on the ground, but that makes sense :p)

Thanks everyone else! Will keep you posted as we move into releasing grin
