Help me to reach the goal @ indiegogo.com - 12/01/12 18:11

And now for something completely different:

In the next days Iīll start a crowdfunding campaign for a 10 step analogue sequencer.

An analogue... what?

Basically, a sequencer can be used to make short melodies or themes on a synthesizer. To get a glimpse, take a look here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-aQwrXH4Ow

However, I wonīt build another monster sequencer for 2000$. My intention is to provide a small but flexible unit to support the big ones. Two protoypes are up and running, you can see them here in action:

More information on www.schranzknecht.com

You can help me to fulfill my goal in two ways:
-Spend at least 1$ at indiegogo (Itīs not for the money - itīs for the message)
-Spread the word!

Iīll will post a link to the campaign here when itīs up & running.

Kudos! cool

hm, fog, just a word.
But ... could you please explain me your motivation to create such a (basically) "drum" machine? Is this your personal start to become a millionar - or is this just a cool hobby?
I mean this wooden block looks loud an heavy but the magix music maker mx sequencer is not bad at all?

Basically itīs just a cool hobby. grin
Some keywords: Haptic, digital FM artefacts (also known as "Schwurbel"), thickness of sound, immediate results.

Magix:

Moog, COTK, Curetronic, MOTM, Buchla, Serge, Schranzknecht:

Music Maker: 200,- Euros
Buchla: http://www.buchla.com/

If you got balls, you would use http://www.reaper.fm/ and not some overpriced Magix (what a name...) toy with restricted functions.

I use Reaktor and Reaper when it comes to the digital world, but sometimes you need that fat analogue sound.

Steinberg & Reason - Check - Approved grin
Btw. you wouldnīt believe how much demand there is for such wooden blocks. Analogue synthesizers made a comeback.

Sure, I know. At the beginning of this year, I sold my old boss VT 1 Voice Transformer.
I payed for this a long time ago about 500,00 DM in the rockshop, Karlsruhe- and I selled it to a theater in Karlsruhe for 430,00 Euro over ebay ( max offer after 3 days ). Totally crazy. Cause youīve got so many digital voice transformers in such a good quality in cheapest software.

The campaign is running, including a demo video:
http://igg.me/p/287121/x/1836109

You can preorder assembled units, PCBīs and frontplates.
The first 20 contributors will get a discount of 40$ by ordering an assembled unit!
But besides that, I would be glad if you could spread the word at facebook, twitter, blogs, in real-life, forums, google+, the whole shebang.

Thanks in advance!
