[HELP] need help on MAIN.EXE error

hi masters,,

i encountered a problem while compiling the level into main.exe, it's successfully compiled, but when I try to run the main.exe, there's an error: "main.exe is damaged", the windows shows an error dialog: "main.exe has encountered a problem an needs to close, bla3..."


any solution for this?

ps: i'm using a7 engine and windows XP

Possible virus. Run your antivirus and check for viruses.

i've running a full scan on my antivirus (i'm using KIS 9), the problem is still the same,,,

any other solution dude?

Are you sure that the compiling was OK?
Did you notice any messages along the way?
Are all your files in the work folder?

Kaspersky is a stupid antivirus :P. Because it can't delete the "Sality.X" Viruses. Try NOD32! Or CA!

Second: Right click on the file and select "Scan":


Third: The anti-virus will automatically scan for viruses:

i've tried the solution of scanning using updated NOD32 the result is no virus found.

In the other hand, the compiling process shows no error(s):

Yeah, i know that problem. That's a virus. It copy itself into any Executable.
For resolve the problem, you'll need manual debugging, and an Anti-Virus, and TuneUp.

But if your PC doesn't have lots of programs (or if you're too lazy to do those tips ) Just format your Hard drive.

i've scan the directory of gamestudio also on acknex.exe, but NOD32 found no virus:





what do you meant by manual debugging? would you tell me the complete steps?

Weird. Maybe you forgot to update it?

And i mean by manual debugging, is to catch every weird program running in you PC by help with Task Manager and TuneUp, and delete every file that contains a weird name in C:\ and C:\Windows.

but one of your pictures shows you performing a compile...which will not
give you a .exe but .wmb

Could this be your problem?

it's just a lil stupid thing inside my script,
