Does A7 support C-Script?
Cause i saw that it can so its very VERY VERY bad that A7 doesnt allow C-Script language in lots of parts in "C-Script">:(

if you want use c-script you should save your files as .wdl not .c

.c is for lite-c.

and lite-c uses almost all the c-script functions, but the syntax
use need to use them is often slightly different.
(eg all function/action declarations require paranthesis)

A7 supports C-Script; I've got a full A6 project running fine with A7. Nevertheless, you can't combine lite-C and C-Script in a single project and expect it to run fine.

You can test A7's C-script support by yourself; as an example, you can open some of the A6 projects from Aum (before Aum67) and see for yourself if they run or not.

Re: Very Weird Error in compiling.... - 02/16/09 21:44

75 % of downloaded aum doesnt function ^^ (Uppon Aum 45)
I get several errors with the "new" downloaded 3dg amestudio A7 demo of www.3dgamestudio.com and nowhere else!
The Shader viewer has some problems too like i cant import ANY models of mine,or of the aum models!
I tested A5 A6 and A7 files!
The "new" aums where the codes are "completly" in Lite-c doesnt function, only the .*exes!
And with aums i dont mean Aum5 where it was written in A5 C-Script? or A6!

As you might not know, the engine is evolving constantly. The lite-C and C-Script languages are slightly different; nevertheless, any A6 project that has an updated C-Script syntax will run fine with A7. What do I mean by "updated C-Script syntax"? Well, "time" was replaced with "time_step" and so on (A7 wasn't out at that moment, so these are C-script updates). Finally, there's a guide that tells you how to convert your code from C-Script to lite-C in the Aum.

I can tell you for sure that projects that were created about 4 years ago (Aum45, etc) were designed for A4, A5 and so on. Newer projects (think Aum60 or newer) should run fine with A7; if you have problems with one of the Aum projects that's newer than (let's say) Aum60 and doesn't run fine with A7 post a screenshot that shows the error messages here.

well as my experience in this forum i dont get any useful help...at many questions and problems smile
but i am not angry ,its quiet typical when a noob wants a script that nobody want to give because they think that he didnt do HIS script and they think that the noobs cant do it themselves and that the noobs didnt tried themselves, well this is a forum for HELP and not a "hey noob DO IT YOURSELF and go and try yourself the damn script" lol
