Best way to export from 3ds max 9 - 09/03/09 07:49

hi,

I bet this has been answered to death here, but I want know the most simple way export from 3ds max to med. Cause I am more comfortable modeling and texturing from 3ds max than med. I'm just too used to 3ds max.

I want the export to maintain texture, animation rig etc.. I don't want to have to do it with med if possible. ^^

The forum search brought up some confusing and contradictory results.

I haven't looked at the video yet, but I have 3ds max 9 as per http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3ds_Max_release_history I have a very old version on 3ds max. I always thought 3ds max 9 and 2009 where same.

On autodesk website (autodesk.com/fbx) there isn't a plugin for 3ds max 9, only for 3ds max 2009 etc.. I tried the 2009 plugin but it didn't work. Any suggestions? frown

thanks, but going there and to www.autodesk.com/fbx gets you to the same page in the end - there isn't a fbx plugin for 3ds max 9 there frown

as said before, the 2009 plugin didn't work for my 3ds max 9.
