Why is engine greyed out when i publish?

im sure i dont have a Trial, Lite, or Team Edition, what else could it be?

Go to the download page, download the free edition, compile and be happy.

i didnt want to have to download yet another program, no idea why i cant on this version? i bought it, so i should be able to use all of its features

If you bought it, you know the edition (Lite-C, Extra, Com or Pro)
its stands on your invoice.

You need to apply the key.exe to unlock the versions features.

just to be sure i uninstalled and downloaded the trial from the site - i still cant publish...

as I remember, trial version can't publish. if you downloaded it then place your key where GS installed. try ask GS support if you still can't publsh.

ok, i figured it out i THINK, but the problem isnt finished with, i applied key.exe again and engine isnt greyed out, but an exe still dosent appear in the folder it publishes to.

now it says this:
Create Engine: (myfirstscript.exe)
1. Can't open file: 'C:\Program Files\GStudio7\work\myfirstscript.exe'

i have no idea whats going on. any ideas?

- this means he should be able to publish _any_ time, even he has no key. Its only about the features of the higher editions that are locked.

yeah i got the free version till i can figure out whats wrong with mine. im thinkin i might need to reformat. do you know the limitations of the free version exactly? if not its cool.

it says the limitations on the 3dgs website.
