Newbie-Question

Hallo,

I don't know about 3DGS and I don't have it. I'm not sure if this is the right Forum, but I've got a problem running 3DGS Games. They run all so slowly, I can't play them. For example Meteor Mess 3D, Bouncy X-Dream, etc. On my former System they all run fine. The aktuell System is faster than the old one, so I think I forgot a driver, or something like this.

System:

Athlon64 X2 3800+
Radeon HD4850
2 GB RAM
WindowsXP SP3
Aktual DirectX und Catalystdriver.

I think these are too less information to help you in any way.

There's no special driver or anything else need to run gs games.

Your hardware should be more than sufficient to run those games smoothly.

Just make sure your video-card drivers and DirectX are as fully up to date as possible.

And that IF your video-card gives you the option, make DirectX the
'primary' driver rather than open_gl.

And BTW: What do you mean with "run so slowly". How much FPS do you have?

Thank's for the answers. Yes I know, that my system ist fast enough and the drivers (drectX, Catalyst) are up to date. The Games are not running only slow, the are lagging. (german: Die Spiele hängen alle Sekunde fest und gehen dann wieder für ne Sekunde, Daher ist es unspielbar.)
Which informations do You need to locate the problem?
