Cartoon Narration?

I am not at the stage yet in the development of my game where I am making cartoon narrations in my game introduction and between major levels. However, I am wondering, can this be done on Gamestudio A8? Have other users created cartoon narrations in the introduction to their game, and between game levels, for a game made in Gamestudio A8? I would just like to get an idea of whether it can be done, before I do get to that stage.

What kind of software do Gamestudio developers use to create their cartoon animations, if any?

I'm not sure what you mean with Cartoon Narrations? Anything like max payne? Or like a page of a comic with different pictures on it?

does cartoon animation mean image based 2D character animation? Fragmotion can export animated characters as sprites, but I remember I saw a tool directly for 2D character image animation somewhere...

Have you never played a video game in which the introduction of the game has some kind of narration animation introduction added? Or when you finish a level, some kind of narrative story appears in animated form that leads into the next level? Or when you beat the game, some kind of victorious narration animation occurs?

So are we supposed to use some kind of separate program to make 2D animations, in order to be imported into Gamestudio somehow?

I have a program called Anime Studio Debut 8. Would a program like that be good enough to create narrative animations, like say, in the introduction (beginning) of my game, in between certain levels, and at the end when the player beats the game, and then have those animations be imported into Gamestudio, to be placed at the right times and occurrences in the game?

Maybe "animated movie" is a more descriptive term. You know, how in many video games an animated movie will take place before playing even begins, in order to introduce the game story to the player. There might also be an animated movie after completing some major level, which is like telling a story. There may also be an animated movie when the player beats the game, narrating the story that happens after the player beats the game.

Yes but I think most of these videos are done with animation software and rendered to a video.

I know exactly what you mean! Ninja Gaiden, metal gear peace walker etc.. style!

Why don`t you just try to make your little comic with photoshop (or what ever).
That means you have to draw your little comic for your game, throw it in a form and then finally show it as images in your game with some sound and music.

Then it should look like this: video link

PS: The cutscenes from the IntenseX demo are made the same way.

So the bottom line is, I have to make my animated movie on a different software than Gamestudio.

So, whatever animated movie I want to create, I am guessing it has to be rendered to a video, and imported into the Gamestudio game, much like mp3 sound files are imported into the Gamestudio game for sound effects?
