motion sensing / motion control / g-sensor / usb remote - 04/02/16 13:46

Hello,

I just got my airmouse (usb not bluetooth) and its pretty cool to toy around with (adviceable to get one with left & right mouse buttons if your going to get one). And since there is also a motion sensing option on it, I was wondering if it is possible to program motion control / g-sensor into Gamestudio 3d projects. So is this possible? Has anyone tried it before with gs3d?

ps: with motion sensing I mean e.g. playing the racing game in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98oLA0gbAnc

Yes, and it should be pretty easy.

You have to know how to program for android, and you can send the data over the network to the game (sockets).
Havent played with Android yet to say more.

Thanks, I indeed found lots of Android examples. I quess that is indeed the easiest way than.
I think it might also be done with e.g. c# through the Gyrometer class, but all those examples seem to be for built in gyroscopes and not from usb.
